My son played on a soccer team that swept everything for years. They played outdoors and indoors. It was always a minimum of 10 to nothing. One game he scored a goal in the first 16 seconds. It got to a point where everyone had to kind of move in their separate ways. He went to a high level competitive team that played an age bracket up. Not all the kids were that good, still don't know how they made it on a competitive team let alone high level. They have struggled and did not win all their games. Many of the tournaments the were demolished. That put a damper on many of the boys. He did not want to play anymore. I really wanted him to continue but didn't want to force him into something he didn't want. He had an awesome weekend last week and all the parents were not happy he was not going to play and talked him into playing. He is the fastest on the team and score almost all of the goals. If he didn't score the goal he had the assist.
Some parents were really upset that they did not win all the games. I like to win but at the same time it was good for them to learn to lose and how to come back.
Long post but it sounds like the Dinglets team over came the loses and have done well.
