Im lost without the PW thread!!!!

It keeps shutting off intermittently. I'm thinking it's overheating.
I first happened when my trunk was full of stuff. I shut off the head unit for a few minutes and it comes back. Sometimes I will just shut off for a second and then come right back. From the little experimenting I've done it seems like if I turn the sub down it doesn't happen.

The sub is a good place to start. You need to make sure there are no whisker wires on the sub wires that might be poking out of the amp terminals and touching.

Make sure that the power, ground and remote wires are tight and no whiskers are sticking out.

make sure the sub chnl bass-boost is set to 0 and that the speaker chnls are still set to Hi-pass. May want to turn the sub gain down a touch as well.

I didnt on our 06 22Ve.

Me either, but with the 1235 I am pushing 4000 rpm's at 30mph. My MP manual says max rpm's are at 4600.

That was probably why they drained the lakes up there, to fill them with cheap gas.
