Wicked was going to monkey with his boat broken or not. I wouid not want to be the next owner after he does his magic.
Not picking sides nor am I questioning anybody's work but anybody that does a ballast install, stereo or anything is playing with the factory setup and risks issues. I had eliminated any boats that I knew had been modifed in any way so as to hopefully eliminate a future problem when I was looking to buy. I have even wondered if me adding a ballast system would be a reason for someone to not by it from me in the future.
The auto industry wants to void warrenty for adding mud flaps or changing tires.

Just opposite me there are people that are more concerned about the add ons rather than the base unit when looking to buy.
Wicked is not talking about normal mods. Like his truck...it's cool, but I would not want it.
Agreed. I was originally looking to get an older boat, and my buddy was all set to help me beef up the engine. He has beefed up his '85 Ski Nautique. On custom mods I would be worried about getting future help.
