There is no doubt that the VLX has a better wake board wake than the Z1 but I think the surf wake on the Z1 is better

Who knows the setup different people run. The factory setting from Malibu are terrible.

I would not disagree with you at all. We did not buy the boat to surf, but may work on dialing it in this summer. It sounds like INT is adding a surf division. I'm just not sure there's enough time in a one day tournament to do it.
