What is the best way to reach that impeller, laying on top of the engine or reaching through the starboard compartment. Do you get at it without removing the hatch covers?

I did mine going through the port side with the batteries removed. I have a hard time accessing anything on the starboard side. I did not have to remove the covers.

Day 2 of the Wake9/Supreme West Coast Open is over and I'm beat. Drove the pontoon boat staging riders today and then rode the RZ2 with Chris Kinsey, Alec Wood, RJ Garcia, and a few others and finished out the day with an evening surf on a Malibu. Having a great time but not doing a very good job with the camera but will have a few to share when I get back home.

That's funny,i did mine from the starboard side.Took out the engine side cover and slipped right in.

The difference may be that I have the shower, I believe your Ve did not, that takes up space on the starboard side both behind the locker and behind the engine.
