Dave - you seem to refer to a lot of things in english units (tarp size, snow depth, etc.). Are you helping us dumb 'mericans know what you're talking about...or are you part of the metric rebellion in canada?

If know our prime minister of the day said we needed to be metric in order for trade. Hmmm US is our biggest trading partner. The only thing I can relate to is temperature in metric

Glad at least have dollars and cents in common. I'd hate think of buying a boat for 20,000 pounds.

actually, being an engineer, I wish the US had gone metric a long time ago

however, can't say that I want to deal with conversion now

I want to buy a boat in bahts.

What the hell country uses baht? Thailand? Nevermind - don't think I want one of their boats.

Metric is so much easier when it comes to say measuring and lengths but all my tape are standard. I still deal with 1/8's and 1/4's

The baht (Thai: บาท, sign: ฿; code: THB) is the currency of Thailand. It is subdivided into 100 satang (สตางค์). The issuance of currency is the responsibility of the Bank of Thailand.
