Guess I was late to the party this morning, all alone.

Priceless
Do you have the access on your back seat, if not it will take a little time to take it out, not bad though?
It's all accessible right now. I will order the pump RT recommended for the future but need one now. I hate Harbor Freight but will have to for the sake of time.

If they use marine/rv antifreeze, there's nothing to remove and if antifreeze was used, then the plugs should be in and the boat should be turn-key spring ready Thats how i do the few boats I winterize for friends.
What am I paying for then? they said they need to suck out the AF and lube this and check that.

I got mine at Lowe's, it was closer. It worked great and I used it to change the oil, cold.

The lube was Vaseline for you, they just weren't clear.

Here is what it looks like but mine was labeled different, but it is the exact same. It was in the isle with the lawn mower belts, plugs, blades, filters, etc... It was hanging on the rack. My wife had said that they had one that was more but I never looked at it. It might be more like what RT has.

I have the drain hose for the engine oil out that just barely comes out the back. I used a 1/4" NPT air compressor plug and a tightening collar connected to the pump to get the engine oil out. I will go take a pic.

I know that others on here use the same thing.

No doubt Boat still has to go to look for oil leak and a couple other warranty items.

Here is what I used to connect to the engine drain line, at least similar to what I use.

I would imagine that your paying for the overhead to keep the dealership in business so when you have a big warranty item or post warranty item to fix they will be there. That will be the response from most of the dealers on this site.

My new dealer here sells nautique, Tige and a few other brands of I/O and pontoon. When I got here in december I had drained all the water and used stabil in the gas. I was going to take it to them for the rest of the winterization (since I haven't done a winterization on my boats in TX ) and they were too busy getting ready for a boat show. I said I'll take it in when they are done but he asked me what I've done and where I store it. I told him drain water and I store it in my semi-heated garage. He said that's all I need to do. I had the oil changed in the fall when I hit 25 hours so I'm good for this winter. I was a little surprised that he just let 300 bucks walk away but it encourages me to call him and/or go to him for other routine Mx.

I ordered an impeller to put in myself because my boat sat on the dealers lot for a year with 1.2 hours on it so I'm putting in a fresh one. Because my boat is in the garage and I have an onboard charger for the batteries I don't worry about pulling them and every month I plug in the charger to keep them topped off.

I think the servicing brings in huge $$$$ for the dealers. My dealer truly is great and i want to support them but they also sells Motorcycles, snowmobiles and do very well already but I don't want to get taken advantage of. Listen....I build concrete buildings but dont do the electrical, plumbing and surely dont work on engines but once I do something once it's no problem going forward just don't have the knowledge to do it the first time so look for help. I have wanted to let the dealer do all the servicing till the warranty runs out but right now I can't justify paying $300.00 plus if they are doing nothing more than starting the boat and checking a few things. They said they would suck out the AF, change the cap and rotor, check and inspect this and that and charge the batteries. I did the impeller last spring, batteries are on a in-board charger and I am doing the tranny and v-drive now and have no idea about the cap and rotor but sounds like simple parts and swap out. The boat still needs to go for warranty items and find a oil leak but we have narrowed it down to where but not why.
