I checked the switch and there was one wire loose so I pushed it in but it didn't help.
Is there definitely two wires on a 2007 Ve? If there is only one wire does it go on the + or -?
If the bilge is bad would that stop the switch light from coming on?
The switch will probably have 3 wires: one is a ground for the switch's back-lite. There will be a B+ and then the switched 12V going out to the bilge.
No, the light in the switch will light if there is B+ and ground on the switch and has nothing to do with what actually gets to the bilge. What is the light in the switch doing, this will at least tell us something.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

My guess - Phil will reply with something to the effect of "OK - that may work...but following proper wiring guidelines is almost guaranteed to not set your boat on fire."
