I noticed on RT's boat the transom hooks are under the water line. Some have suggested that is where to pull tubes from. Seems weird that you would have a tube being pulled from under the platform. Seems that would put alot of pressure on the platform and possibly bend it up. I might need to ask someone in Ewoks neck of the woods if that is approved.

Technically speaking, yes, the transom rings are the only "approved" location to tow tubes from.
