I use a cheap pump. I think I will get a better one this year. It looks like it would be a mess to use the drain plug on the trans. I use the tube on the engine and let it drain for an hour or so. Be sure to warm it up first or it will never drain.

Do you do the tranny every year?

I started to wonder if the SeaDek gets beat up by the fins of boards, skis, etc..

I change the oil when I winterize the boat and the tranny in the spring. Just so I don't spend all day changing oils.

That is another can of worms - change the oil in the spring or when you winterize

I do have two indentations in my SeaDek from a friends wakeboard that had really tall fins. My fins don't even touch the deck when getting strapped in.
