What are you using for roofing material?

I am running 2x6 rafters/joists, with 5/4x6 cross stringers o roughly 16" centers. On top of that is a corrugated asphaltic materail called Ondura. It comes in 48" wide sheets of about 79" length.

Almost used Ondura on the tree house. Let me know how you end up liking it...

Never heard of it. My Dad's boathouse at the lake has a paper and tared flat roof....would it work on that?

Ondura is sometimes spec'd as a material to put over an existing comp roof, but it needs to be on a slope. I doubt it would be appropriate for a flat roof.

Nope...it's basically a no maintenance corrugated roof.

Phil...I bought a used boat lift (like a hydro hoist). The carpet needs replacing on the boards that the boat rests on. Any suggestions on what to use?

Guapo, I've seen these on boat lifts before......looks like it may hold up better than carpet, but I don't personally know anyone that could confirm that.
