Phil, would a pair of 12" L7's be OK on the ZX1000.1 amp or should we go with the ZX1500.1?
Zx1500.1 for sure.
On the woofers, go with the S12L72. Be careful about that last number in the model name; ite calls out the voice coil impedance for the woofer.
FOr a pair os S12L72, you would wire the two coils in each woofer in series up to a 4-ohm load. then you would wire the two woofers in parallel with each other back down to a 2-ohm load. That will get teh ZX1500.1 really going, and will deliver 750 watts to each sub.
It's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....
That's not very long! We have 10 years on ours...well most of ours anyway...we've had to replace one or two.
We bought the place when it was two years old and it had contractor grade appliances and counter tops in it. It was a nice upgrade with the Granite and she is happy and I have a boat

Thanks, he has saved up so I think we'll get the hu and amp so he can get it installed. When he starts summer work here soon he'll be ready for the subs.
Glad to hear he is finishing that. It's huge in the coporate world!!
Planning is done....if you get them to this point the project itself is the easiest part. Then they have to finish the notebook and go before a couple of boards. The best part he is 16, so he will not be pressed for time before he turns 18. Thanks!
