how can i get that ballast picture for my picture in the heading of my posts?

Probably have to save it to your computer, resize it to the max avatar size (can't remember for sure, but I think that's like 90x90 pixels or so), and upload it to the user control panel page.

I was wrong. Avatar max size is 65x65 pixels.

I think Eddie may have uploaded it to his photobucket account. But Phil was the master that created it.
