You could go on flight tracker and look at departure delays from your local airport and find the best time of day to travel and experience the least delay. You could also add Wx delays to the equation and see if there is a correlation between precipitation and the best time of day for departure. You might find something such as 0600-1000 on a good weather day is the optimal time but on a bad weather day 0600-0800 might be the optimal window.

You could use math to determine the displacement required of a boat to make a certain size wake, and try to determine the amount of downforce required from the wedge to match that force of displacement.

X2, but I am getting a nice refund this year, and I keep adjusting my withholding so I won't get so much back and keep it during the year but kids, house, boat this year qualified me for a lot of deductions. I love CPA's.

As you may have seen on the news it's been very cold in Iowa.
So cold, in fact, that the US Corp of Engineers has borrowed a Norwegian Icebreaker to clear the Mississippi River for freighter traffic. The Icebreaker is starting near Davenport and working its way northward.
Here is a picture as the hard work of ice breaking begins. Impressive!
