Our neighbor just bought a paint last week, and returned it today after she had it's legs x-ray'd.

She said something about it's joints are messed up from the previous owner not riding it or taking care of the hooves for the last five months.

Yeah it is a pain to take care of them 9 hours away. Plus selling them was part of the agreement to get a boat. Guess I better get busy.

I have only done that with cows.

Thats my only experience, the darn thing was bouncing around the next day like nothing happend and so was the mare
