Ok, the story goes, i was driving to work on I-90 and we started to get freezing rain. Traffic was moderate but slowing down due to the Wx. A small dodge or chevy pickup spun out in front of my NASCAR style. It did 4-5 360s and finished the spin in the same lane going forward with traffic. As this was happening I was on mh brakes and slowing and avoiding th spinning truck. When the truck finished spinning and I didn't hit it I thought, great, avoided that accident. Well another pickup truck behind me had locked up the brakes and was sliding on ice and hit the back of my car and pushed me into the spinning truck in front of me. The airbags did not deploy because it was more of a slow crunch than a fast impact. The engine did not get hit, just crumpled the radiator a bit but the back needs some work. Body shop is estimating 20,000 bucks to fix it with new OEM parts and the blue book is around 16k.
Luckily no one else was hurt. One girl was taken away in an ambulance but i think she was flopping since she was out of her car walking around a bit, no blood, no broken bones. I bet she was really shook up and probably went into shock.

I'm just disappointed If I can't get my car fixed. I loved that car and it was in perfect mechanical condition. I just had a new clutch and throwing bearing installed, new summer rubber, new snow tires with wheels, always feed it shell premium and used mobil 1 for oil changes. I know I won't find a car like that for 16k

Ed, what is the "F"man saying on Bu crew? It sounds like he wants nothing to do with a Tige to me. he is just here stirring the pot. I was in my Sisters 2010 VLX and it is not noticeably larger for seating than mine though I thought the extra room may have been in the Bow. I would not want more than 10 in mine at any time Heck I would be loosing cooler space
As far as I know he is not on BuCrew, but has a ton of threads on the Supra site.
Evidently Fman is looking forward to slamming 14 people in his boat.
He's hard headed...I'm not trying to sway him to a bu or tige, but if you're going to compare you should know enough to look at the the correct models.
