Geez. Finally heard from the shop today. They haven't even started on my boat yet!
He said they have been fighting with Tige to get the molded piece (I dunno what to call it - sleeve? shroud? - between the speakers and the tower) for the MB-8's. I guess Tige won't sell them since they got the speakers directly from WetSounds and not from the factory. WTF?
I told him to screw the shroud, just bolt 'em up directly to the tower. And while they are at it, and moving the Pro-60's, take the shroud off them, too. I have been disliking it anyway for this last summer - turns out that it must be a different plastic than the WetSounds housing, and it has been fading significantly.
So, maybe now they'll actually start on my boat.

all he needs to do is order a set of speakers direct from Tige, and then just use the shrouds and then sell the speakers.
and yes, those shrouds are a Tige specific part that they have made. No connection with Wet Sounds.
Make sure you get your shrouds back! They will be worth a mint.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I do find it odd that Tige won't just send or sell them to a Tige dealer who is installing them onto a Tige Alpha Z. I mean, what else are they good for? I guess that Tige wants to make money on being a middleman on the speakers.

I got the old black water waste thru hull glassed over this last weekend... Three pics showing the patching process, the faired patch and the first layer of gelcoat. It's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....
