Back in high school, I dated one girl whose dad was about 6'8" and 350 lbs (but she took after her 5'0" mom ). That dude scared the chit outta me. Oddly, he took a real liking to me and would let her stay out with me a couple hours later than anyone else. To this day, when I see him, he is the friendliest guy you can imagine and wants to chat for hours.

I only wish the girls had liked me as much as their parents did.

I'm about to pick up my new boat on Sat. I need to know what type of hitch/electrical connector for the boatmate trailor so I can rig up my Navigator. Any thoughts?

I guess ball size and style of connector on the trailor is what I need to know.

Dingle, if you have any thoughts you are will to lend, please still post them. I'm falling asleep on the couch here and will check it in the morning.

Probably should ask your dealer what your trailer comes with, just to make sure. Ours is a 2 5/16" ball. Also, most newer tow vehicles come with a 7-pin round electrical connector, which is likely what the trailer is. But, like I said, check with your dealer to make sure. Also, you will need to know the approximate drop you will want in your hitch.

If your Navigator is equipped with the tow package, you will probably only need to worry about getting the correct drop hitch and ball (and I would bet money that your dealer has some on hand he would be more than happy to sell you). If you don't have the tow package, you may need to have a tow hitch receiver and electrical connector installed by a trailer shop.

Thanks Dingle. The only reason I asked is because I know we have similar boats and I haven't been able to get a hold of my dealer as he has been on vacation (how dare he???) I'll probably get with him today.
