I have the 16mb package from Comcast along with digital phone for $72 per month with tax. Not a bad deal IMO.

We cut the landline cord a few years ago, only cell phones for us. I'm getting a special price of 29 bucks/month then 52 after 1year

Our land line is now the fax. Any one I want to talk to calls me on the cell. All the "surveys" and telemarketers and collectors get the fax machine

Our Dish Network installer said he loved his Direct TV setup.

I'll have 2 DVRs on the network recording 4 channels simultaneously. And the 4 different TVs will all be able to watch live TV or anything that was recorded on either DVR, potentially 4 recorded shows each on a different TV.

I tried to cut the land line and a week into it I got caught up in a 6 hour conf call for work at home and the cell phone sucked for that so we went back to it.

Luckily that's not in my job description, I don't mind long phone calls with my headset though. The apple one with the mic built in works well for me.

My iPhone couldn't handle it so I then switched to my blackberry while the iPhone was charging and then went back to the iphone.

Yup, I just wish more companies would embrace fiberoptics, if I'm going to switch over to the web for tv content and use the Internet as I do now, I'm going to need more bandwidth.
