I've never done one, but it looks to me like you click to start a new thread, then on the edit page as you type the title/content, scroll down toward the bottom and you can find a box to mark if you wish to include a poll.

Amistad = 5.66 million acre*feet
Mead = 28.5 million acre*feet

Was that just the American side or the entire lake? I was just looking at Google Maps, Amistad looked about as big, if its not, I apologize for insulting the silly people of Las Vegas who are draining that wonderful lake.

BTW, Amistad is almost at full conservation level. It was above flood stage over the 4th of July weekend.

Anyway, the water was GREAT, and Ryan had his first boat ride, he loved it, he was fussy until the engine started, then calmed right down and was fast asleep in a few minutes.

I don't know. I'm not even sure if those figures were accurate...but I saw several items on google with similar numbers, so I just used them.

And it is not the silly people of Las Vegas who are draining Mead. It is the farmers in the deserts of Southern California who irrigate with huge amounts of water, and the Army Corps who manages it. Vegas only uses something small like 2% of the Colorado River flow.
