PCM makes engine, PCM sells engine with warranty, PCM trains mechanics to do service for warranty repair, mechanics pay PCM for the training program + books + special tools as required, customers pay trained mechanics to work on engine after warranty is up, customer likes engine and mechanics and eventually buys new engine, and the cycle continues. The cycle is interrupted if WA gets his books and does not see a mechanic, the mechanics do not get paid by customers, the mechanics stop going to training sessions, that stream of revenue dries up, PCM engines gets a bad reputation for poor service or reliability or some other symptom of untrained mechanics working on engines, PCM does not sell as many new engines, PCM goes out of business.
You forgot the part where Obama bails out PCM and we all get into the boat business too...Waiting for another good one!

I can go online right now and order all the manuals for my G35 for 200-300 bucks in PDF format. They are the official Nissan manuals.Waiting for another good one!

On a jetboat, it dives the bow and causes a huge wave to build in front of the boat, which then collapses by gravity. By modulating the throttle, a good driver can keep the wave in front of the boat (very little water in the boat), move forward so that the wave collapses on the passengers in front, or keep the boat moving so that the wave collapses along the length of the boat and drenches everyone.
We call it the "braking maneuver" and it's a favorite when we have new teenagers in the boat. We have them sit in the rear-facing bow seats so they never realize the wave is there until it is too late. The passengers in back get a nice show but stay relatively dry (except for their feet).
By the way, having brakes has saved us a couple of times from idiots in other boats who weren't paying attention. So this "feature" has benefits beyond just being silly.
For example, when walking down the hall, i might be talking about all the stupid plasma screens we have and how it reminds me of star wars, on the deck of the enterprise with the big view screen, on purpose. when someone corrects me and says that I was talking about star trek, not star wars, I say, "thanks neil" and then they feel stupid for falling for such an obvious neil trap.
anyway, super long post to say that when I read this post from WA, I wanted to say thanks neil. I'll explain it to him when i get up there.2009 RZ2, PCM 343, MLA Surf Ballast, Premium Sound.
