Originally posted by Ewok View PostI pulled that pic from that post, it was about his shackles reversing when the trailer was empty, not exactly the same situation. I was just perplexed as to why it started to lean forward on the trailer and unlevel the shackles. When I jacked up the tongue the shackles leveled out, but I had 2000 miles of towing where this was not an issue. Just wondering if the knowledgeable and verbose whores here hand any similar issues pop up.
You did not hit a curb did you?
I have not had that happen to me yet.

Below is not my picture but I posted it to show the top of the leaf spring shackle. When I got the boat back to the house I jacked up the tongue with the trailer Jack and the spring shackles seem level now. I plan to get a hitch with a 3" lift on the ball to tow the boat in the future but has anyone had his sort of problem before?Attached Files"Failing to prepare is preparing to fail" John Wooden- Rest in Peace
