NM is going to be tricky, the only lake I can put the boat in is 1.5 hour drive 1 way out of the way along the trip. I have to beat my movers up there so I can unlock the house and let them move my stuff in, but I think I can make it work. I'm definitely heading through LA, I might have to stop one night in Vegas, I've never been there.

I just looked at a map and I'm going to have to stop in havasu along the way to surf NV. I'll have to meet up somewhere. I'm going to have to stop in lake oreville too in CA and meet up with ragboy and pick up a wake9 sticker!

What is the quagga?

Quagga mussel. Close relative to the zebra mussel. The lower Colorado has a mussel infestation. So, if you put in, you really should clean, dry, disenfect your bilge, ballast, etc. to avoid spreading them.

Of course, that's the only place I boat, so I just let 'em live

Ill start a thread closer to the start of the trip to get advice on where to put in at mead, looks like lots of choices. How did those muscles get there? Are they from big boats from LA that people trailer out there?
