I put 30 hours on my boat since I bought it Aug30th... having fun with it!

Oh, the seller was this old guy that didn't read his hour meter correctly either. He advertised it as having 800 hours. Well he replaced the tach at about 200hours and the hour meter read somewhere around 68.5 or so when I bought it and he read that as 685.0! LOL I have less than 300 hours on this '99 Even happier day!
      Waiting for another good one!

Watch out, Dr.! Read the engineering note above! Your spacers may absorb up to 7% (by weight) of water using it in that application!
I think they will be fine after drying out for the next 9 months

                  Engineering note:
Nylons can absorb up to 7% (by weight) water under high humidity or submerged in water. This can result in dimensional changes up to 2% and a corresponding reduction of physical properties. Proper design techniques can frequently compensate for this factor.
You may also use it for swim deck ladder spacers

Only if you sign the waiver and acknowledge that it may change dimensionally up to 2% when submerged in water.

They were leftover guide runners and the price was right, I will take my chances I am definitely not a engineer but it seems as there is more area exposed and able to expand on them than what little area is under compression, I would think that the 2% dimensional expansion should follow the path of least resistance and move towards the outward edges
The possibility that they can absorb 7% of their weight in water is a bonus

Hey, this weekend is gonna be nice. We got the INT comp in Acampo Saturday. Got practice tomorrow in the Delta, come down!
I wish. Have to work and have some overtime to do. This weekend might be do-able but don't know yet.

Still married. I kind of feel sorry for my wife.

haha, now that is funny. I'm not an engineer. Just a computer programmer.

Okay, who is worse: engineer or computer programmer
