I have the same sort of thing. I was thinking of doing a hatch on the vertical front of the center seat for fast access. Not the best aesthetically, but great from a functionality stand point.

The new ones are that way. I was wanting to do one like that. I was trying to find out if I can trim down the gray block that holds the rear seat in so I can get a big enough one.

I have a hatch under the seat and my short arms can reach the shutoffs but if I remember you have less room than I.
