True...I was just thinking of all the upfront cost in producing a new model when you already have a 20 footer in the line.

Good point, maybe they are banking on it being a hit and they plan to amortize the R&D out over a few years in order to keep the price down. 20ft'rs seem to be popular for a number of reasons: lake restrictions, storage, tow vehicle size, budget. Some peeps want bigger, just cant do it, some want an inboard for a good quality wake, but cant swing the models with all the other bling.

Again, these are just the rambling opinions of a cool internet bully with an obscene but worthless post count.

The one thing I don't care for is that rear bench with the engine compartment bulge. But it may work better than it looks.
