The one negative is the 6 weeks after delivery that you have to keep your hands off your wife...long six weeks... We have 4 kids...add that up...24 weeks of living like a monk...brutal...

But I'm sure you'll do fine

Ugh, yet another weekend potential sleep-in ruined by our dog. The most annoying part is that after she wakes me up and I've let her outside, she comes back in, goes back upstairs and goes back to sleep with my wife. Meanwhile, I'm now wide awake

We don't have a dog...for some of those very reasons. My neighbor (about 1/4 mile away...we live in the country) just got a dog from the pound. It now spends the majority of it's time at our house because we are more fun (read have 4 kids).

Last night it fell asleep on our porch and woke us up at 4:00 am barking at some woodland creature. Again reminded of why we don't have a dog.

Don't get me wrong, we love the idea of having a dog, but I don't need a 5th child....
