              That's my concern too, they said they were going to take a soldering iron and sear the edges where they cut it.

                      My Dad's had been there for 20+ years, he could not believe it worked. The fiberglass is porous, once you clean it you need to seal it good or it will come right back.

                          You could sew in a strap system to mount the hang tight to.Then you wouldn't have any holes.
