Crazy ish happened this morning. I got myself and the wifey new windshield wipers last week in anticipation of these storms. Well as I get to work this morning my driver's side wiper blade flies off. Luckily I am in the parking lot at work and grab it. The wifey calls me a little bit later all upset, crying etc... because halfway to work her driver's side wiper blade flew off. On mine it appears the plastic connecting piece on the wiper broke thus it won't stay on. Obviously I have no idea why hers flew off. Before any of you guys decide they must have been improperly installed my bro put them on my truck for me while I was detailing it and I installed them on my wife's car. Pretty sure we both didn't do improper installs.

What Brand? I have had that happen with a few styles where I did not get them fully latched in. The onlyest other time I have seen that is when I'm beating them against the windshield to get the 25lbs of ice off them

i had to stop a couple weeks back and fix the full wiper arm on my gti due to a massive gust...totally blew it off the windshield and was just waving hi to the other lane!
