They usually sink a few 5 gallon buckets with concrete for anchor points. Works well, then I use those anchors for the rest of the summer, as long as no one else gets to them first.
I may try your recommendations first Chp before we ship the SMD. I will put all the amps at 80hz, and then set the amps around 1/4-1/3 gain. Do you run quite a bit of mid bass to the rev 10s from the ws420, or leave everything pretty much straight up?
Changes with the music, but you just need to be easy with those EQ adjustments.

Ok thats what I figured. I pretty much have everything straight up. A little mid bass just to the towers tho. I will leave everything straight up until I get an ear for it. I have the inboat amp set at like 120 hz I think. I will tinker with it this weekend and let you know what I come up with. The syn 4 for the inboats should only be up about a 1/3 too? I can hear when the in boats distort, the towers just get so damn loud its hard for me to tell.
Ya, they are pretty much there to stay, first come, first serve. If I see the party that I know set them, I will offer it up to them. Common courtesy. They usually just tie up with us.

Gain can always be lower then their max, as lowe the better, but no good to set higher. With the 5V line driver in the 420, you should not need the gain on the amps too high. About 1/3 up will be darn close to where they need to be.
Gains too high is #2 cause of unwanted noise.

Sweet. We'll definitely be headin that way this summer.
