Yes, the R20 has less bells & whistles. Different tower, no tige touch, etc. But still a great boat at a more affordable price.

Bryce I am not trying to be a **** in any way but what tricks are you throwing these days that necessitate 3000lbs of ballast? I get that you have a DD and the wake isn't as big out of the box. Just seems like 3000lbs is incredibly excessive unless you are starting to try 5s or 7s.

Don't get me wrong man I love a big ole wake but I found when we were running 3600lbs plus wedge in our Axis it was not helping me progress at all. It was helping me be extremely sore after every day on the lake.

haha, I understand man. I by no means need that much weight at all. Im only going w2w and FS TS 180s. I can get around on a HS 360 but cant get the rope and can land a HS 180 but riding away goofy footed I fall. So by no means do I need much more than 3 people I just want to be able to get a decent wake out of it, like ET's old DD

I just want to be able to utilize my 1100 lbs sac and 750 lb sac I already have. Getting another 750 lb sac so I can have them beside the engine, and the 1100 up front would let them get damn near full if not completely. I just want lead so I can move it around and get the wake even. It just happens to come out around 3k lbs

At the end of last season, when I changed to the 911 prop, I went out once and had the 1100 under the rear bench seat, probably only half full, and the 750 up front about 3/4 full. I was just wanting to get the most out of what I got

That is understandable man. I would fill it in stages. Going from close to no ballast up to 3000lbs of ballast is a HUGE difference. By stages I mean try and keep the 50/50 weight distribution but maybe go 1000lbs, 2000lbs, then try the big boy 3000lbs.

The day we went out with the ballast bags, there was nobody else in the boat, which is why I couldnt tell a difference, thinking it needed more Mayb if Bigdaddy is selling his 400# bags cheap, I can put them besides the motor, and the 750 up front. That'd be a good start. Or at least better than jumping to 3k
