Hey Mike, do you know anything about replacing the XMD3 with the CMD6. Iwndr how hard it would be to replace it if theyre different sizes. I dont think I want to wire in 2 remotes and still not be able to adjust the songs from the transom so I might as well do it how I want the first time

They use the same 2 x 7 inch opening and I think they may actually use the same connector, but I would change it out any way. The XDM series has a wider face, so the mounting screw holes will be left visible once the CMD is installed. Some white silicone or MarineTex in those holes will make them nearly invisible.

Just got some great news, the Canadian Snowbirds want to come and perform at my show!!! This is terrific news, I'll have the USAF Thunderbirds and the Snowbirds at the same show, it will be awesome here 18-19 May 2013!!!
