I have been looking at Sierra 1500 trucks. You guys are making me nervous about GMC. I may have to stick with Ford or go Toyota.

I have been looking at Sierra 1500 trucks. You guys are making me nervous about GMC. I may have to stick with Ford or go Toyota.

I had zero problems with my pre-2007 suburbans. My dad had an 07 Denali with the 6.0 and now has a 2010 Denali with the 6.2. No issues there. I'd be comfortable with a GM as long as it didn't have the 5.3L that unloads from 8 to 4 cylinders.

My wife has an 08 Toyota Landcruiser with the 5.7 or 5.8 (can't remember)...but that engine is a beast...love it...

Same engine and started having problems at 68,000. We have a 2002 GMC that's been great, but I'll be going back to Ford.

If I was looking for a pickup...I'd have to look at the Ford Super Duty...sweet trucks.

Actually, it has been a generally solid vehicle for us. That being said, I don't know what I would get if I needed to replace it.

Thought about it...but, I work downtown and park in a parking garage. The 3/4 ton trucks get to be a bit unwieldy. My current F-150 drags the antenna on the concrete ceiling already. I was even interested in the new Powerstroke diesel but don't want to spend the extra money.

Although, the MLA decals are a little small. I think you need to remove the Wakesetter decal from the side and sport 12" tall MLA signage.
