If you can afford it take a lesson. It will be easier to learn and you will have more fun that way. Skiing is probably easier to learn but the way you jumped up on my surfboard you may do good the first time out on a snowboard.

I have been learning to snowboard te last few days. It is coming along slow. Have taken a lot of falls and am not off the bunny hill yet. A few face plants today and my tailbone really hurts.

I have skied all the blue runs and a few blacks. have been all over the hills here at Snowbird.
