    Ohh I did not ever see them on the campers we owned, all trailers I ever seen have the e brake cable. 18 wheelers must think like me too, they do not use safety chains either.

      I may have lied, I think mine has the chains because it has the 5th wheel to gooseneck adapter that the chains are mounted on. So now that you say that, you are correct.

                        No. The 'new' ones that have the issues fixed are supposed to be here in a couple weeks. Looks like I'll be replacing at least 1 battery while I'm at it. Oh well.
