WTF kind of twisted logic is that???? So, if I am interpreting PM, I can have a black-powder muzzle-loader as provided b the constitution while the crack-crazed dude robbing my home is toting an AK, or a pistol, or whatever.

So you outlaw guns in the U.S. What then???? Pot is illegal, but there is plenty of that around still... You will never win a war on contraband, be it guns, drugs, baby food or health care. A black market will thrive regardless of law, and in this case, it will be the ooutlaws that have guns...

Oh and me too. If it comes to that, I will be one of those that is breaking the law...

Events like this one are never pleasant. It is sad, but it points to issues outside of weapons. Some will argue that without the weapons there will be no crime, but I will tell you that without guns, we will find some other means to accomplish the same thing.

Dude was sick, sad, upset, and he killed someone. Then he killed himself. If not a gun then a hammer, or a chainsaw, or poison, or strangulation... There are a million ways to die in the naked city....

Statistics show that the per/capita gun crimes are higher in states with the toughest gun laws like IL and NY. But we all know that logic doesnt ever play into the liberal way of thinking. It really comes down to "I dont like guns so no one should have them" kind of mentality

So what other things we have in our daily lives can be used maliciously? I think about the only logic they can stand on is that a gun's only purpose is to kill, while other methods or devices of execution have other uses. Still, be it a rock, or a car, or an explosive device, it is human malice that kills, not the inanimate object that inadvertantly becomes the instrument of death...
