Theres a thumb plug on the bottom of the exhaust risers and theres 3 other small 3/8" pipe plugs on the bottom of each exchanger and I also got some water out of them. Only about a 1/4 to 1/2 a cup I'd say. Is the trans cooler in the back of the motor on the inboard or on the starboard side in the bottom of the bilge? Theres 2 cans at both locations that look identical but the one in the back has a small plug in the underside and I pulled it and no water came out. I did already pull off the houses going into the raw water pump but not to the impeller housing so I'll need to do that. Where would I feed the antifreeze? Would the raw water hose be in the back of the engine where it goes into the first filter? Or up by the raw water pump? Rookie questions but Ive tried to teach my self this far.
The trans cooler will be in the raw water line somewhere and hose 2 hydrulic hoses running to a from the transmission.

Poke something in the drain holes to make sure theres no sediment blocking the holes.

Water can sit on top of the impeller in the outlet hose.

The raw water side if the system is everything from the pickup in the hull to where is enters the exhaust risers.

Im keeping the Syn-2 since 700W is perfect for the Rev-410 thats going up in place of the 485.

Retail was $900, im ready to let it go for $500. If you dont mind the amps not looking all the same, the Kicker IX500.2 would be a perfect amp. If you want to stay with the Syn, a Syn-2 is perfect, or a Syn-4 but only using 2 chnls.

And thanks alot for all the info on the closed cooling system. I am thinking about getting a flush kit pro system. It appears to me that I'd just cut it in inbetween the trans cooler and raw water pump. Seem to be a nice feature to have
