If I recall correctly, I think that Nobody had bet that the Dems would control both the House and Senate after the elections two years ago.

Sorry, I'll keep it light from here on out, I think most of the reasons unions were formed, the coorporate greed and unethical business practices were answered with OSHA, the EPA and the national labor relations board. And I think that as a free country, if workers want to form a union they should be allowed, but a company should be allowed to hire other workers if they can find them while the regular workers strike. And I don't think any federal, state or local employees should be allowed to form a union, and I don't think union membership or dues paying should be mandatory by state or federal law.

I would agree with that. I am neutral on unions in this decade.
