I agree and it is why I do not drink while boating, you have to be watching everywhere all the time to protect your riders be it tubers, skiers or boarders.
to me it's all about the smiles and hoots and hollers while they are behind the boat
X2 i save the drinking untill everyone is done riding and we decide to cove off or dock for the rest of the day
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It's just that yours is stupid.

I agree with every bit of that. I don't drink alcohol on the boat. I do pull tubers now and then but, I try to be safe at all times and not get distracted.
That's not your fault...yet...There's still ice on your lakes right?
It won't be the first thing pulled I will make the kids Board at least one set before I air up the tube but it will happen the same day Hopefully in two weeks

I have no cup holders at the helm, so I can't drink. Besides w/ one hand on the throttle, one on the wheel, one eye on where I'm going and one on the mirror; I'm kinda busy.
That was a terrible accident in Houston that Dave S posted.
Two years ago on Labor day a similar event ocured in front of us with a jet ski and a speed boat. a 12 yo boy lost his life. we put the boat up for the season that day
