I don't add RV antifreeze to my ballast or engine, I drain it all, I have aerator pumps which drain themselves, and I do my own oil changes at regular intervals. I also keep the boat in my garage which doesn't get any colder than 45 in the cold of winter. My furnace and hot water heater are in the garage2009 RZ2, PCM 343, MLA Surf Ballast, Premium Sound.

At least if I mess up I've got myself to blame pay for the fix so it's good incentive to NOT mess up.

Cost wise I have seen $300 - $600. Then some of them expect you to bring it back to them to summerize for about the same cost but typically a little cheaper. There is the thought that if they do it then they are liable. On the other hand I know that some don't do what they say they do. I would rather do it knowing what I have done and how it was done. You also become a lot more familiar with your boat.
My is that it is not that hard to do it yourself.
