I had to invest in a south bend double disc clutch when I programmed and deleted my truck. My stock clutch on my 6 spd slipped from the first test drive

I got all into tuning my truck. I was going to do the Suncoast bit, and go balls out...
Getting the smog notice was a blessing in disguise I suppose.

I wouldn't mind going back to a very minimal tune just to delete the DPF though. I will say I really did get better fuel mileage that off.

O yea, not to mention rumor has it that stuff will fill with suet and fudge up your truck. My dad has a '11 3500 cummins and that think wouldn't even think about blowing smoke. He gets 12-14 in town. With my exhaust break on when its cold, it'll build back pressure to warm the motor. It sounds like a jet engine is getting ready to take off he would never admit it but hes jealous

Not picking sides, mine is completely stock and will be. But the other guy was doubting him that he couldn't do it. Sounds like he is pretty confident that he can if he is giving a money back warranty. Rather than a bunch of what ifs test it.

I will just say this, I'm glad you had a good experience with him because there are others that did not.

Yes, your DPF will eventually plug over time. For the ordinary guy that drives their truck 'normally', I think I heard something like 10 years? I could be totally wrong about that as well though.
