I really hate that... Do you at leave have an ipod connection over at the helm or is that in the glove box too?
It's actually a rca to a head jack adapter and t comes out of the back of the HU. It's got a 4' cord but its kinda a tripping hazard. I'm pumped to use the ws420 for my ipod now
Bryce just a heads up as you keep adding amps you may need to add a relay for your remote turn on. Eventually you get so many amps the remote turn on from the head unit can't fire them all up. I have a relay hooked to mine.

My quick sketch of my rca runs to my ws420. I bought 20' rca runs and I think all I need to do is run a power and ground from one of the amps. Iwndr if I need to run the power from the remote wire so its only on when the amps on. It's been a while since I looked at it but I think I'm on the right track.
Your head-unit will need to trigger the WS-420 to turn on, same as it does the amps.
Bruiz is right, with 3 amps and an EQ, it may be worth while to install a relay to carry that load. B+ from an amp and the head-unit triggers the relay closed.
