Had a nightmare last night that woke me up 10,minutes b4 my alarm went off. My boat and trailer wasn't latched and popped off my hitch and landed in the ditch

That happened to my grandfather 4 family boats ago, it was in the 70s, my dumbass uncle was driving when my grandfather noticed the boat passing them on the road.

Speaking of, I need to drop off the warranty papers for the new owner this moring. My dealer did all the required paperwork and inspections for him at no charge.

Had a nightmare last night that woke me up 10,minutes b4 my alarm went off. My boat and trailer wasn't latched and popped off my hitch and landed in the ditch

I had that happen once. Hit a big dip at an intersection and the boat trailer popped off. The tongue wheel just rolled up so the boat just kept rolling. We were going slow enough through the intersection that we looked to our left and the boat was passing us! Hit the brakes and were able to catch the boat on foot (barefoot). Tried to stop it as it started down a Winn Dixie parking lot toward the store. It didn't make it as a new Cutlass got in the way. Boat ended up on top of the car. 1966 Glastron was light enough to lift back on the trailer. A few gouges on the boat bow and a bent tongue that cost 27.00 to replace. Cutlass was not so lucky. 37 years ago I was not smart enough to have chains on the trailer. Sure wouldn't pull without them now. Sure was a sick feeling to look over and see your boat passing you by.

Skippa, I just posted in that other thread. I don't think my boat has spray pockets but I'm not familiar w them but I searched and think I figured it out
