Five or ET, at the comps do they run all the riders in the same division at the same speed, rope and rope length? Or does every ride tell the driver the speed they want and give them their rope and tell them how much to use?

Most riders use their own rope and can ride whatever length/speed they choose, but we do have a boat rope just in case.

From your experience what is the typical rope (brand), length, and speed?

It varies so much, but with stock ballast I would say 70'/21-22 mph.

every 5 feet usually bump up the speed 1, or lower if you take off rope you know a Bu has a clean mph wake under 18 {grin}
