My buddy was lineman up until this year and anytime he needed new stuff, he would just go put in some overtime or storm time, etc. Work 16 hours on, 8 off and then back at it and then if there was a storm or a fire, go make some big $$$. Pretty easy to make 150k+ a year as a lineman if you get some tornadoes, fires, hurricanes, etc. Hard azz, dangerous work though.

$150k/yr would be a good income. A little more than a 25% raise I was biotching about wanting yesterday but a good income none the less.

My local market raised their coffee price from $0.50 a cup to $0.75/cup. That's $3.75/week now. I'm gonna just start brewing it at home with the timer thingy.

On that note, income is all relative. If you make $100k/year now, you're probably spending $90k. If you make $200k/year you'll end up spending $190k
