Eldo as we call it around here. It's a great lake. We didn't try it this year because my wife is still a little nervous about the ramp loading area and it can get tight at Eldo.
We talked about moving our boats and camper to Kaw next spring for the year.

Yes Five, although they are sometimes built in a dry dock, then launched (water released into the dry dock). That last ship is a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration ship. I spent almost an entire deployment on a Frigate escorting one of those ships around the Persian Gulf. Even with my clearance, to this day I have no idea what that ship was researching.

Yup. If they were to launch them with the pointy end first, then they would be chasing that thing down as it continued way on out into the channel/port/whatever. Sideways launch keeps it nice and close.
