I need to find a good local upholstery place and see what kind of turnaround time they are running. I have a laundry list of little fixes for the vinyl, hatch hinges, and cover to be done. Last weekend the seatback from the bow door into the observers storage area completely stripped all the screws holding it to the hinge, and also found that the main cabin support pole is about to rip through the reinforced snap point of the cover. Grrrr...

There is an upholstery shop directly across from the Rebel in BC. I don't know about their reputation but maybe it's a starting point.

Thanks Ewok... I may be naive, but I was worried I would have to replace the whole cover. Thank goodness those small tears can be fixed!

I need to talk to our BC friends - as I recall, I think they don't have good things to say about that particular shop. But there is another one in BC that supposedly does good work and is much easier to deal with.

I have had a couple of tears in my vinyl fixed by a local guy. I can tell where it is but it is better than looking at the rip or the rip getting bigger.
