cool vests, are they comp vests or CGA? We rode with comp vests for a while in TX but when I started branching out to other lakes I got scared of the cops. Plus I knocked myself out once trying to go big. I went big head first into the water and the comp vest was slow to bring me up. I use the Helium SWAT CGA vest now, its not bulky at all.

They're comp vests. I'll let him practice and compete in it. When he's trying something new, CGA all the way.

When I wakeboard I wear a helmet too, but just to keep the water out of my ears incase I eat it. One of they pilots in my squadron, who is really good at wake boarding, blew out his eardrum coming down from an invert. He couldn't fly for 6 months and the commander was pissed that he had a new penguin.

But I don't wakeboard much anymore, I can barely stand up with my back straight. Surfing is definitely more my pace now.

Got that right, referring to surfing! I don't even bring the wakeboard anymore. If we have guests I ask them if they want to wakeboard hoping they say no.

haha, I hung up my surfboard (which sucks because it's a brand new TWP signature)
I definitely have more fun watching and helping my son progress than I ever would surfing for myself. One of these days I'll get back to making it all about me, but for now, little fiver is stoked so I'm more than stoked about that!
