think I dinged my prop three times the first year, but none of them were too bad

most embarrassing was dinging it on the ramp while launching on the maiden voyage

guess I should feel lucky that my '09 SpeedSet hasn't had the problems that others have had with locking up/overshooting speed/etc.

it has overshot speed several times, but I chalk that up to operator error of forgetting to push the button to engage it again after turning off the engine

ugh - another death on the water at Mead this weekend

guy was on the water in a 21-ft boat with his (wife? girlfriend?) and a toddler, guy jumped into the water to swim a little and 30mph winds pushed the boat away faster than he could swim

woman didn't know how to operate the boat and called 911, but he hasn't been found
