the virgin islands I have always liked better than mexico for the water, but mexico is usually cheaper. Puerto Rico is not bad, and don't need a passport to go there.
I have always wanted to go to costa rica....have heard great things about it.
Bora bora does look cool and would go there if I could.


Dom when your in cabo go to the Toro Bravo if it is still open....probably dont want to take your significant other there either....it is off the main strip. (its a very interesting place) Go to the office on the beach if it still there they run a good happy hour. Definately rent a water taxi to lovers beach? but bring a cooler w/some drinks if you plan on hanging out there for a while....it is usually in all pixs of the arched rock. Oh, and if you go on a dinner cruise don't be the person who has too much and when trying to exit the boat down a 10' ladder off the bow face plant onto the beach. funny for everyone else, but not the lady who fell in front of us.

TORO BRAVO is a must see!! Haahaaa...I had forgot about that place. Yeah x2...I wouldn't suggest taking the better half with you! Went there in my younger years. Caught a 145 pound striped marlin in Cabo. Had to go back (to Cabo) a few times just for the fishin! Had a blast...

Bora Bora Pearl Resort. It was great. They were building a few new resorts while I was there. Some are better than others but we were happy with the Pearl.

One thing to keep in mind is that Bora Bora is the home of black pearls, so you need to budget some money for some pearls if you go with your spouse

Bora Bora looks awesome. If those are really your own pics it must be cool. Is it expensive there like Hawaii? I could wait to get out of Hawaii because of the prices. Breakfast at Dennys was $70.00 for 4 of us. I'm not kidding.

The first set of pics are my own. The second set are not. Bora Bora is expensive...much like Hawaii. Everything is expensive. Primarily due to the logistics of getting everything there since it is in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. It's a special place. You have to go in mentally prepared for the expense.

On a side note, I've been to Hawaii 4 or 5 times, and each time I questioned whether it was really worth the logistics of getting there and back...along with adjusting to a 5-6 hour time change. In converse to that, the day I got home from Bora Bora, I wanted to go back. It was worth the money and hassle. It's just a special place. We went for our 10th anniversary (going on 15 now), and I plan on going back at least by our 20th.

I'm definitely going there. That looks too cool. I don't mind spending the money for a awesome place. Hawaii just bugged me because it seemed like they hated americans there for some reason.

OOOPS...it's only money...the place really is worth it. I'm down in Cancun right now and love the place we are staying, but it's still not Bora Bora....
